Using CELLFLOAT technology to culture a large number of cells and large cell tissues
By utilizing our unique 3D rotational floating culture technology “CELLFLOAT”, we can efficiently culture a large number of cells and large cell tissues at once using large-capacity culture vessel.
With the CellPet 3D-L, you can customize the shape and capacity of the culture vessels, as well as the gas exchange mechanism for the culture medium, according to your cultivation conditions. Additionally, it supports autoclave and EOG sterilization.
The size of the CellPet 3D-L main body can be customized to fit the culture vessels, CO2 incubators, and installation space you are using.
We will flexibly accommodate your requests, so please feel free to consult us.
Culture Medium: D-MEM (High Glucose) + 10% FBS + Antibiotics
Cultivation Period: 12 days
Cultivation Environment: Inside CO2 Incubator (Chamber Temperature: 37℃, CO2 Concentration: 5%)
Large-capacity vessel
Large-scale culture of the human osteosarcoma-derived cell line “MG63”
(Capacity: 550 mL, with gas exchange mechanism)
Capable of cultivating a large number of cells and large cell tissues at once
(Capacity: 180 mL each, series-connected, with gas exchange mechanism)
Capable of cultivating different types of cells and under different culture conditions simultaneously
When the capacity of the culture vessel is fixed by the customer, we will propose an optimized CellPet 3D-L that matches that size.
It is possible to add a function for large tissue or mass cell cultures where a camera attached to the side of the culture vessel monitors the floating position of cells or tissues. By automatically adjusting the rotation speed of the vessel, the optimal floating position within the vessel can be maintained. This function enables a more stable cultivation environment.
Inside the culture vessel equipped with a gas exchange mechanism, there is a cylinder wrapped in a gas-permeable membrane. Gases introduced from the outside (external air) dissolve into the culture medium through this permeable membrane. For instance, when used in a CO₂ environment, CO₂ dissolves into the culture medium according to the environmental partial pressure.
