A KB mirror is a 2D focusing mirror consisting of vertical and horizontal mirrors with elliptical shape. KB mirrors are used to focus synchrotron radiation having 2D divergence angles and are easier to handle than other focusing mirrors. KB mirrors are installed in many beamlines of synchrotron radiation because of their high operability and excellent focusing capability.
